japan tour 06

finally my blog is alive again!!! first on the list will be the japan trip i went with my parents sometime in mid may.

we visited 3 states in japan, osaka, kyoto and tokyo. i am definitely not going to talk about my 7 days at japan in details because i cant rmb everything for heaven sake. so here are the highlights!

first stop was the universal studio. i heard there is one at usa but i am not too usre which is better. however, one thing i am sure is the place was impressive. the terminator 3 ride, ET adventure, the spider man ride which scared my parents out of their wits, the thrilling water world performance, the family jaw ride and the night peter pan performance by the bay. all the rides play on something called fantasy. the place made me want to be with the characters. flying in the air and fighting with captain hook along with peter pan and maintaining law and order in new york city with spiderman. i want to go back there!!!

japan has another theme park which cannot be missed. it is the disneyland theme park. the only disappointment was the castle was under renovation so i could catch a glimpse on how beautiful it is. this time round, there were not many action heros in disneyland as compared to universal studio. it plays on your imagination. space mountain ride brought me to the star glaxary, the parade relived my childhood dreams, the luxary steam train and boat ride made me feel like a rich girl, the haunted mansion was peanuts and more more MORE!!! despite disneyland having many rides, the best attraction was the parade - moving on! the costumes the participants put on cheered me up. being able to look at my childhood playmates, the cindrella, alice in the wonderland face to face was a dream come true.

i missed these 2 theme parks although all the instructions were given in japanese. quite sad. but i want to go back and have fun again. let me appeal to all my dear friends out there. let's start saving now and go japan again!

i took a hot spring bath too. the feeling was wonderful. i seriously felt much better after the dip. the aches and tiredness from all the travelling were miraculously gone. how i hope there is one in spore. just let me live in my dreams for a few seconds can you?

yesyes!!!! i ate a lot of jap food there. i did not really enjoy the meals because i am not a fan of jap food to start with. i always have horrible experience after eating jap food. it is either food poisoning or stomache or feels bloated or vomitting. i was not spared this time round too. i had no idea what happened. i am confident that i do NOT suffer from motion sickness. however, i felt like puking after sitting a close to 6 hours of bus ride. the moment i got off the coach and went into the hotel room, i dashed into the toilet. and guess what, i vomitted. i took some pills and thought everything would be fine but i was naive. i did eat much for my dinner and after an hour since i vomitted, i did it again!!!! my stomach was practically empty and i could not stand it anymore. i forgo the shopping trip after the dinner and went up to the room to rest. while resting on the bed, i vomitted again. damn! i seriously dont know what was wrong with my digestive system that day.

my family extended our stay at japan to visit my mum's ex japanese colleague. she had just given birth to a healthy and heavy little boy. her family was very friendly and accomdating towards us. although we could not speak each other's language, we were able to understand each other and enjoy our stay there. i just recieved a gift from them. it is a most wanted item i want to lay my hands on it. haha... it is the japan jersey. yeah!!! although the sleeves are a little long for me, i am never going to give that to my brother. yes! i am a selfish pig.

so much about japan, let;s get back to spore.

i am finally unemployed. strange isnt? but anyway, i will be available and free most of my time. so what did i learn from this job? well, my job duties were pretty dumb and stupid, even a kid can manage. anyway, the great company made each of my working day did not seem like a dreadful day for me. communcation is very important to avoid unncessary misunderstandings and conflicts. i still find myself a rather biased person. first impression counts for me and sometimes i will use that to judge someone whom i am not close with. so just beware of me.

my taiwan trip is up next.
